Bluetooth

Within the Bluetooth protocol, there is the opportunity to provide high data rate encrypted communications. LTS has used this technology to provide both a mobile and fixed bluetooth modem for automatic data exchange between a vehicle, and a fixed location, such as a branch or depot.

The LTS Bluetooth modems are designed to collect and deliver data, to intelligent systems on board a suitably equipped vehicle, such as data terminals, Tachograph, digitised voice announcements, visual passenger information displays and other similar equipment.
